Arm, Thigh, and Buttock Lifts

For many patients there are specific "problem areas". These may involve the upper arms, the thighs, hips and buttocks. 

Often, the problem is limited only to excessive fat accumulation in localized regions and this can easily be treated with liposuction.

In other patients however, the problem is more complex and involves not only excessive fat deposits, but also a stretched, loose, flaccid skin. For these patients, liposuction alone is not an adequate treatment because liposuction does not diminish loose folds of skin. This condition often follows marked weight loss in which the patient has successfully reduced large stores of fat tissue but is left with significantly stretched out skin which cannot contract or shrink.
